This is my latest short film nicknamed “Ghettotron”. It’s derived from all the great movies and anime that had such a huge impact upon my youth. It’s not meant to be a fully finished piece, but I hope you enjoy revisiting your youth while watching as I did creating it. Also, much credit goes to Tom Allain, Miguel and Lyn Lee. Veteran designers whom I convinced to dress up as sci-fi characters for an epic battle spanning the cosmos. Please visit aurorarising.tv to see what they do for day jobs. I especially want to thank my wife for her support and patience. It’s not easy walking thru a kitchen with helmets and lightsabers strewn about the floor.

WINNER LAMVF 2011 “Best Indie Video”

Wow. My short film “CHOICE” just became the winner of the first annual Los Angeles Music Video Film Festival for “Best Indie Video”. Much thanks to all the judges who participated and especially Sami Kriegstein for putting an awesome event together. This piece was also showcased at the New Filmmakers Los Angeles Show at Sunset Gower Studios and was featured as a finalist on Genero.tv. In addition, “CHOICE” will be screened in Paris this April at the 6th annual European Independent Film Festival. Thank you to everyone who participated in this film and helped tirelessly to promote it. And thank you to Moby especially.

After a hectic start to a new year, I’ve finally edited together some recent work with some favorite older pieces. The 2009 reel kept me cringing, and after numerous client requests to see something, I decided to revise. Aphex Twin still remains unscathed.
